Alexandra Botez

Alexandra Botez (born September 24, 1995) is an American-born Canadian chess player and commentator, Twitch streamer, and YouTuber. She was awarded the title as a Woman FIDE Master in 2013.

She and her sister, Andrea Botez, both play competive chess, as they one played a chess game against each other. Levy Rozman made a video about the 2 sisters playing aganist each other.


Alexandra started playing chess in Canda at the age of six. She won her very first girls' national championship at the young age of 8. Later, she moved back to the U.S. and sucessfuly won the U.S. Girls Nationals at the age of 15.
